Davis AYSO’s 8-week Pickup Soccer program gives kids ages 5–14 a fun, low-pressure place to build skills, gain confidence, and spend more time actually playing soccer.
Each session combines age-appropriate skill development with small-sided games and plenty of play, all guided by AYSO coaches.
No tryouts. No travel. No complicated schedule. Just soccer.

What Is Pickup Soccer?
Pickup Soccer is built around what kids enjoy most: getting on the field and playing.
Each session includes age-appropriate skills, activities, and plenty of game time led by AYSO coaches. The focus is on helping players develop confidence, improve their soccer skills, and enjoy the game.
Players of all experience levels are welcome, including kids who are brand new to soccer.
A Flexible Fall Soccer Option
We know family schedules can be busy. This 8-week format offers a simple way to fit soccer into your fall without the demands of a traditional team season.

Join us for our Fall Open House + Free Night of Play on Wednesday, September 9 at Field 9.
Kids can meet our coaches, try some skills and drills, and jump into plenty of soccer. Families can meet the Davis AYSO community and see what Everyone Plays® is all about.
The Free Night of Play follows the same age-group schedule:
- Ages 5–8: 5:00–6:00 PM
- Ages 9–11: 6:00–7:00 PM
- Ages 12–14: 7:00–8:00 PM
